Why ‘syntropic’
Syntropic agriculture doesn’t fight the system it plants into. It studies the ecosystem first, then works within it — which takes time, and pays back in compounding rather than yield per season.
In product, that kind of patience was usually unaffordable. Understanding a market properly took months, so most teams shipped and hoped.

The four stages
The order the work runs in. Every tool on this site sits in one of them.
Understand
Establish what is actually true about the market, the job being hired for, and the people already serving it. Most of the work is here, and it used to be the part nobody could afford.
Evaluate
Turn the understanding into a verdict with reasons — go, conditional go, or no. Name the assumptions the verdict rests on and rank them by what they would cost to be wrong about.
Build
Build the smallest thing that tests the riskiest assumption. Scope follows evidence rather than ambition.
Learn
Log what happened against the assumption it tested, move the conviction, and take the decision the evidence supports — including killing it. The decision log becomes the record of why.
